We hear that Reverend Scott gave us another rousing

worship service last Sunday. Our 'sign inspiration' this

week is another quote from Jess Wilson: 'Let us be as

strong in character as an oak'.

We ask your prayers especially for all of the beautiful

pastors who have spent time with the search committee

over these past days. They have opened their lives to

us and we cannot help but pray for each one of them,

their families, and their current congregations. We are

so hopeful that we will find God’s will as we take our next

steps.

The NEW TESTAMENT READING this week: Luke 15:1-3, 11b-32. We welcome

back Reverend Diane Stevenson who highlights “He was lost and has been found”

and entitles her sermon “Tight shoes, No Shoes, Dancing Shoes.”

Our Lenten “souper” book study continues NEXT WEEK April 4 at 7PM. We are

finding many inspiring and challenging passages in Richard Rohr’s Falling Upward

Looking forwrad to April....Reverend Carol Rawls returns Sunday April 7. A new pastor

for us on a Palm Sunday and Easter - Rev Mary Lou Howsen. We will forward a bio.

Rev Scott returns on the 28th.

Note that Easter offering donations for Easter flowers and dedications may be

made by contacting Gladys. They always bring such spring joy to our sanctuary.

Our donations for the Lenten season will benefit Greenwich World Hunger

Association.
